Qualification : 
POST & CATEGORY-WISE BREAK UP OF VACANCIES (POWERGRID)
1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/ST candidates and pass marks for SC
2. Diploma Trainee (Electronics & Communication) – Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Engineering/ Information Technology from recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ST candidates and pass marks for SC candidates
3. Jr. Officer Trainee (HR) – B.Com. from a recognized University/College with 1st division and pass marks for SC/ST candidates. Additional qualification of M.Com. shall be desirable. Experience: Candidates should have one year post qualification experience in Finance & Accounts function of an organisation of repute. Should have experience in processing payment and maintenance of Accounts of the organisation. Should have worked on computers and familiar with various software used in Finance & Accounting function

4. Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/ST candidates
5. Diploma Trainee (IT) – Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Engineering/ Information Technology from recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL) /SC/ST candidates.
6. Diploma Trainee (Electronics) – Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/SC/ST candidates.
7. Jr. Officer Trainee (HR) – Two year full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relation/ MSW or equivalent from recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks General/OBC (NCL)/SC/ST candidates.
8. Assistant (Finance) – B.Com. from a recognized University/College with 1st division. Additional qualification of M.Com. shall be desirable. Experience: Candidates should have one year post qualificationexperience in Finance & Accounts function of an organisation of repute. Age Limit : 
Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 – 27 Years), (For Post 3, 8 – 28 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.

Pay Scale :
1. Diploma Trainee – Rs. 16000-35500/- (IDA)
2. Jr. Officer Trainee – Rs. 16000-35500/- (IDA)

Selection Process : Written Test/Computer Based Test (100 % weightage )

For the post of Diploma Trainee (Electrical), Diploma Trainee (IT), Diploma Trainee (Electronics) and Jr. Officer Trainee (HR) – Rs.300/-
For For the post of Assistant (F&A) – Rs.200/-
For Bank Charges: Rs 60/-
For SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
